About Department

The aim of the department is to install in each student a creative link between theory and practice and to understand a wide variety of software and hardware technologies and their applications. The faculty of the department equip the students with the fundamental understanding and practical skills such as programming languages, hardware design, networks, graphics, databases and information retrieval, computer security, software design, artificial intelligence, needed by the future leaders of computing and related professions .

About HOD

Dr.J.Vaijayanthimala, Assistant Professor & Head of the Department of Information Technology has got 16 years of Academic Experience in Teaching ,Research & Administration.
16 years of teaching ,research and analysis experience and her research interests are image Processing , Pattern Recognition , Machine Learning , Mobile and Grid Computing and Internet of Things (IoT).
Holds the position as Head /DGCT IT Infrastructure.
She has wide depth knowledge of Image processing, Pattern Recognition,IOT, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Published research papers in refereed international journals and proceedings of various international conferences.
Editorial member of Journal of Electrical,Electronics & Computer Engineering Research(JEECER).
Published two Indian Patents (IPR)( Develop a device to automate voice recognition, Low cost metal 3D Printer).
Received Innovative Technologist and Dedicated Teaching Professional Award from ISRPM-JETR Convention ,Malaysia.
